In plain language
Your organisation owns its data. We store the player details and scores your organisation enters, use them only to run its trials, and never for marketing. Organisation admins control who sees what. You can ask for access, correction or deletion at any time.
1. What we collect
Account data: your name, email address and sign-in provider ID. Organisation data entered by the organisation: player names, date of birth, club, preferred role and an optional guardian contact. Evaluation scores and notes. Device and crash data to keep the app working.
2. Why we collect it
To run the trials your organisation configures — nothing else. We do not use player data for marketing or sell it to anyone.
3. Who can see it
The organisation's admins and its assigned selectors. Trial Selector staff access data only to provide support, under audit.
4. Our processors
Google Firebase (authentication, database and hosting), Google Workspace SMTP for transactional email, Vercel (this website) and Sentry/Crashlytics (crash reporting). When billing is live, payments will be processed by a South African provider. Each processes data only on our instructions.
5. Retention
While the organisation subscribes; historical records for up to 7 years, or earlier deletion on request.
6. Your rights
Access, correction and deletion. Email support@sonsofthesouth.co and we will action it.
7. Children's data
Data about minors is entered by the responsible organisation, which holds the required consent. See the POPIA Notice for roles and lawful basis.
